About this service
Hvac Connects is operated by Connor Foley and Ethan Malave. It provides HVAC job listings, professional profiles, messaging, application and offer tools, resumes, and employer reviews. It is not your employer, an HVAC service provider, or a party to an employment agreement. The site does not provide technical repair advice, emergency services, payroll, or payment for work. For an emergency, call 911.
Who may use the platform
You must be at least 18 and able to enter an agreement. Provide accurate account information, keep control of your verified email, and use only your own account. Employers must be authorized to act for their organization. Do not impersonate a professional or organization, share accounts, evade restrictions, or sell access. We may ask for information reasonably needed to investigate fraud or account ownership.
Hiring and professional responsibilities
Employers determine lawful hiring criteria, employment status, pay, benefits, scheduling, supervision, accommodations, work eligibility, and required checks. Professionals must hold all qualifications required for the work and operate within their authorized scope. Independently verify licensure, references, insurance, training, and legal requirements before work begins. Uploaded documents, employer-reviewed labels, ratings, and a verified email are not independent background or license verification. Any regulated background check requires its own lawful process and disclosures; accepting these terms is not blanket authorization for a background report.
Listings, applications and offers
Daily, weekly and permanent labels describe opportunities. Payment timing and guaranteed hours are statements by the posting employer; Hvac Connects does not guarantee pay, placement, hours, or results. Confirm final terms directly in a separate employment agreement. Accepting an offer records your response on this platform; it does not replace employment paperwork. Do not post nonexistent roles, unlawful pay or qualifications, misleading employment arrangements, or opportunities requiring an applicant to pay a fee to obtain a job.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your profile, photo, resume, messages and documents. You give us permission to host, process and display them as needed to operate the features you choose, subject to the Privacy notice. Upload only content you are entitled to share. Applying shares your profile and credential documents with that employer; later credential updates can also be accessible to employers whose jobs you have applied to. Do not put private customer information, Social Security numbers, identity documents or confidential customer records in the service.
Employer agreement and candidate information
By using an employer account, you confirm authority to bind the organization you identify. Use professional information only for a specific, lawful hiring purpose, protect it from unauthorized access, limit access to personnel who need it, and maintain appropriate records and deletion practices. Do not resell, republish, scrape, train models on, or use profiles and documents for advertising, unrelated screening or customer service. You are responsible for applicable recruiting or agency licenses, employment eligibility, wage and hour obligations, tax reporting, insurance and background or license checks for your own hiring activity. Paid membership is access to platform tools; it does not appoint Hvac Connects as your employer, staffing provider, licensed recruiter, credential verifier, or agent. Labels do not override the actual legal responsibilities of either party.
Subscriptions
Professional accounts are free. Employer access to posting, full professional profiles and messaging requires the paid monthly membership described in Subscription & cancellation. A subscription does not guarantee candidates, responses or hires. Do not bypass payment restrictions or scrape, export for resale, or redistribute professional information.
Content moderation and account restrictions
Authorized administrators may review accounts, documents, listings and messages for support, security and policy enforcement. We may restrict unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or unsafe content or accounts and may preserve records when required by law. You may report concerns or request review through Support. Honest criticism is allowed; reviews are not removed merely because they are negative.
Service limits and your rights
We use reasonable efforts to operate the service, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free information, or a particular employment outcome. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without guarantees about third-party conduct or qualifications. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, liabilities or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each party remains responsible for its own conduct under applicable law.
Changes, closure and contact
Material changes to these terms require renewed acceptance before continued account use. Subscription changes will be disclosed before they affect a renewal. You may stop using the service, cancel automatic renewal through Privacy & account controls or Manage billing, and request account closure or deletion through Support. Privacy requests and cancellation remain available without accepting amended terms and while a workspace is suspended. Contact the operators at the address below to discuss a complaint or dispute. These terms do not require confidential arbitration or waive your right to an honest review.
Copyright and account enforcement
Upload only content you own or are permitted to use. Copyright and content-removal requests are described in our Copyright & content removal notice. We may restrict infringing material and terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, while considering valid disputes and counter-notifications.
